About Me
About Kim Pearson

As the owner of Primary Sources, my mission is to help people tell
and preserve their unique and valuable stories. My talents and experiences have contributed
to my making this mission a reality.
I am a professional, published writer of fiction, non-fiction and poetry, the author of Eating Mythos Soup: poemstories for Laura, Common Disguises, Animal ABC, Haiku Wheel of the Year, Making History: how to remember, record, interpret and share the events of your life, and You Can Be An Author, Even if You’re Not a Writer. My newest book, Dog Park Diary: the Social Round of Goody Beagle, will be published in 2008.
I am a ghostwriter and editor. I have ghostwritten or edited over 30 books for individuals, families or businesses, telling the stories of a wide variety of people and covering a broad range of topics. I am a skilled interviewer, able to elicit color, drama, depth and detail that make your stories come alive on the page.
I am a historian. I hold degrees in History from the University of Washington, and have spent
years in historical research of my own, both because it is necessary as background for my writing,
and because I love the subject.
I am a teacher. My classes help people to find their authentic voices, realize their
inner wisdom, and discover their place in history. I have taught for Seniors Making Art,
Bellevue Community College, Shoreline Community College, Cancer Lifeline, and many
other venues.
I am a specialist in business marketing, using my 20+ years of experience in sales and marketing to write dynamic business books, pamphlets, manuals, and articles that help my clients find and keep their customers.
